XVI Conference of the Archaeologists of the Far East and Seberia

FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Colleagues;

Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology, Far East Division of the RussianAcademyof Sciences is preparing the XVI Conference of the Archaeologists of the Far East and Seberia to be held in April2015 inVladivostok. The program of the Symposium is to include interesting excursions to archaeological sites of the prehistoric time, to medieval towns of theBohaiState (8-10 centuries) and Jurchen Empire Chin (12-13 centuries).

The main themes of discussion are as follows:

• Siberia, Far East andNorthern Americain the Stone Age
• Northern Pacificain the Early Metall Age
• History and Archaeology of theBohaiState
• Far East andCentral Asiain the Middle Age

The detailed information on the Symposium, scientific program and financial terms will be sent in the Second Announcement at the beginning of February 2015.
