Books of IHAE FEB RAS won the XXI “Printing House” Awards
On October 10 the XXI Far Eastern book Exhibition-Fair “Printing House” – 2020 has summed up the results. The book forum has been held since 1997 and presented more than 450 far eastern companies. Every year experts award to «The Best books» of the region in 28 nominations.
This year the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnology FEB RAS also submitted books for the competition. And four of them have been received prizes.
- “Ethnoatlas of Primorsky Krai” was awarded a Silver medal as “The Best Local History Edition” in the nomination “Dictionaries, Reference Books, Guidebooks”
- The collective monograph “History and Culture of the Tazy People: Historical and Ethnographic Essays (from the second half of the 19th to the beginning of the 21st centuries)” was awarded a diploma as “The Best Scientific Book” in the nomination “Monographs”
- “Towns of the Medieval Empires in the Far East” received a Silver medal as “The Best Scientific Book” in the nomination “Monographs”
- The fundamental monograph “History of the Russian Far East. Vol. 3. Book 3. The Far East of the USSR: 1941-1945” won a Gold medal as “The Best Scientific Book” in the nomination “Monographs”.
