XVII All-Russia Young Scientists Conference with International Participation “The Far East in global and local historical trends.”
On October 20-21, 2020, the Institute of History, Archeology and ethnology, FEB RAS has held the 17th All-Russia Young Scientists Online Conference with International Participation “The Far East in Global and Local Historical Trends”. The conference was organized by the Council of Young Scientists with the support of the Institute’s Administration.
Bachelors, undergraduates, graduate students, young scientists and specialists from Korea, China, as well as from Khabarovsk, Yakutsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Vladivostok took part in the Conference. It’s an important scientific event not only for the participants presenting their research results, but also for the organizers improving their professional skills.
The most reports were devoted to the consideration of the role and place of the Far East in global and local historical trends, complex problems in the history of the development of the region’, political, socio-economic and cultural processes.
The conference lasted for 2 days. There were 5 speakers for the plenary session and 10 reports were presented at the first section “Archeology, Ethnography and Culture of the Peoples of the Far East” on the first day. On the second day, the work covered two sections “The Far East in the system of international relations of the APR countries” (7 reports) and “History of the Russian Far East” (9 reports).
