On September 9-10, 2015 at the Institute of history FEB RAS, was held the traditional international scientific conference “XXXI Russian-Japanese Symposium of historians and economists FEB RAS and Kansai (Japan)”. This Symposium is held every year, alternately in Japan and Russia. In some ways it is unique, because of its longevity, and in the history of bilateral relations, there are few examples of such viability of scientific forums. August 25-26, 2015  in Vladivostok hosted the international scientific conference “The unfinished war – unhealed wounds”. The conference was held to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second world war – the most terrible and one of the largest wars in history, which still responds with sharp pain and sorrow in the hearts of millions of people. In this war, the forces defending humanism, human dignity and freedom, at the cost of enormous effort and the hardest of the victims took precedence over those who sought to enslave the people of Earth. June 26, 2015 On the initiative of the IHAE FEBRAS, together with the Administration of Primorsky Krai, Legislative Assembly of Primorsky region, Public chamber of the Primorsky territory, the Assembly of peoples of Primorsky Krai was held the Second scientific and practical conference “The Slavic world in the context of the development of Pacific Russia and international relations in the Asia-Pacific region”, dedicated to the Day of friendship and unity of the Slavs. The conference hosted a seminar (round table) on the topic: “Slavic peoples: common roots, common traditions, a common destiny”.

June 18, 2015 The Department of international relations and security of IHAE held another round table on the issues of international cooperation and security in the Asia-Pacific region. The theme of the round table was the essence and importance of the Trans-Pacific partnership (TPP), as well as the opportunities and prospects of joining the organization of the Russian Federation.

April 28-29, 2015 at the Institute held an enlarged meeting of the academic council – the 44th annual session, the theme of which was the war and military conflicts in social development.

May 14 – 15, 2015 in Vladivostok hosted the International scientific conference “Developing Asia Pacific’s Last Frontier: Fostering International Cooperation in the Development of Russia’s Siberia and Far East”. This is the second conference organized in the framework of the project on international cooperation in the development of the Eastern regions of Russia. Read more →
